Water Damage in Amelia, Ohio
Not many would think that a water dispenser could cause much water damage in a home, but that is exactly what damaged the floors of this home in Amelia, Ohio. The water bottle leaked and two weeks later SERVPRO of Cincinnati East was called to perform mitigation services. After assessing the extent of the damage, it was determined that the laminate flooring was not salvageable so the SERVPRO water crews removed the flooring. Then, in order to help prevent a developing mold issue, the technicians applied an anti-microbial agent to the hard surfaces. Drying equipment was placed in the areas and monitored until the dry out was complete. Once the technicians were sure that the area was dry, the equipment was removed and the home was ready for the final structural repairs.
