Water Damage in Amelia, Ohio
There was water damage to this home in Amelia, Ohio when a pipe to the toilet in the second floor bathroom leaked. Both floors of the home were affected including the bathroom on the second floor and the dining room below. SERVPRO of Cincinnati East was called for mitigation services. It is always important to respond quickly to water damage because mold thrives on moisture and the damage could turn into an even bigger problem for the homeowners if not treated properly. So our water technicians responded to complete the water restoration process as soon as possible. For the area shown in the photos, the technicians removed the wet drywall in the ceiling, the trim and crown molding. They set up air movers and dehumidifiers in the areas and monitored the equipment until the dryout process was complete. Once the area was dry, all debris was hauled away, the drying equipment was removed and the area was ready for the structural repairs.
